Manchester bombing

Stockton Heath Methodist Church will be open from 9 am to 1 pm on Wednesday 24 May to give space for those who may wish to offer prayer following the bombing at Manchester Arena with the tragic loss of so many lives including those of children.  If you wish to join us in prayer  please come; otherwise I encourage you to pray for all those affected by this bombing. Please make this prayer opportunity known to any who may be interested.

I understand that this is being treated as a terrorist attack and we pray that such events may cease.  Across the world such terrorist events have brought misery and death and we pray for a time when they will be no more.

I was in Manchester last night for an evening out like those poor people who like me went for an evening’s entertainment but sadly so many never returned home or found their lives changed for ever.

Revd David Easton (Minister Stockton Heath Methodist Church)

If you missed this moving and funny play there will be an additional performance on 29th June at 7.30pm as part of the Stockton Heath festival.
