October Themed Services
“PARTNERS OR PLUNDERERS?”
Over the past year many of us have been concerned if not shocked at the revelations around how much waste, especially plastic, is polluting our environment, killing wildlife and threatening the very existence of the natural cycle that keeps our world in balance. Some Christians may feel that the Church has been very sluggish in putting this issue at the top of the agenda. It has been very active in confronting poverty and social inequality – saving people – but has done very little about saving the planet.
You may disagree, but this Themed Month will give an opportunity to discuss how we can use our talents and skills, how we can campaign and conserve, how we can work with overseas partners to ensure that God’s wonderful creation is cared for and protected.
You are very welcome to come along to any of these Sunday services as well as to join the debates on Tuesday evenings.
